Terhune Orchards Read and Explore Program is our winter education series, following the popular seasonal Read and Pick Program.

Enjoy fun on the farm in winter! Read & Explore is a fun and educational program that combines hands-on activities with listening to a story. This hands-on educational program is a great cure for cabin fever and a way to stay connected to the farm during the winter months.

This week, we will read “The Gingerbread Man” and then each child will decorate a big gingerbread man cookie to take home. Kids will be amazed at how many gingerbread man ingredients come from farms.

Pre-registration is required. Each program costs $12 per participating child and includes the materials for the activity.
