Enjoy fun on the farm in winter! Read & Explore is a fun and educational program that combines hands-on activities with listening to a story. This hands-on educational program is a great cure for cabin fever and a way to stay connected to the farm during the winter months. Thus week, we will get ready to wake up from winter and prepare to start gardening. As St. Patrick’s Day is the traditional day to plant peas and spinach and get the garden ready, we will start our gardens too! Our reading is a selection from “Frog and Toad Are Friends.” Each child will plant seeds to take home.
Pre-registration is required. Each program costs $12 per participating child and includes the materials for the activity.
