Enjoy fun on the farm in winter! Read & Explore is a fun and educational program that combines hands-on activities with listening to a story. This hands-on educational program is a great cure for cabin fever and a way to stay connected to the farm during the winter months. For our third Read and Explore program, learn about how animals keep themselves warm in winter. We will read two stories about animals, and explore the sense of touch with wool, feathers, etc. Each child will make a paper bag animal to take home with lots of “fluff.”
Pre-registration is required. Each program costs $12 per participating child and includes the materials for the activity.
