Terhune Orchards is a family owned and operated farm where you’ll find a farm store, winery, Pick Your Own, farm animals and such favorites as cider donuts, fresh-pressed cider and, of course, Jersey fresh produce. It’s also a popular destination, located on 250 magnificent acres of land in Princeton, N.J., that attracts thousands of visitors from near and far for apple picking, pumpkin picking, live music and wine tastings, family-fun activities, educational programs and more.

Terhune Farm Store

The Terhune Orchards Farm Store is at the center of the property. It’s a much-loved spot among local people who shop here daily, as well as visitors passing through Princeton, many of whom have heard about the farm’s reputation as one of the best in central New Jersey. The cozy store is stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables and noted for its quality products and friendly, country-style service.

Terhune WInery

The Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery offers award-winning wines made from grapes grown on the farm. Open year-round, the winery also hosts live music and wine-tasting events, most of which take place on the spacious grounds of the farm.

The Mount Family

The Mount Family has owned and operated the farm from its current location for more than 45 years, growing more than 40 different crops and many varieties within these crops.

Terhune Orchards is recognized by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection as a sustainable farm. All of our crops are grown using sustainable practices and Integrated Pest Management. We are certified organic vegetable production.

Pick Your Own is available April to October with strawberry, blueberry, apple and pumpkin picking and more. Customers are welcome to visit our farm animals and the children’s play area.

Our field trips, educational programs and summer camps show children what farming is all about. They can see for themselves where their food comes from.

Farm festivals, live music and wine tastings happen throughout the year. The whole family is bound to enjoy a visit to Terhune Orchards!
