Terhune Orchards joins the wineries of Vintage North Jersey for the annual Wine & Art Trail Weekend On March 11-12 from 12-5 p.m. Participating wineries around the state display the work of local artists and sample wines in their winery tasting rooms. Follow the wine trail and become a connoisseur of fine wine and fine art at the same time!
During the Wine & Art Trail Weekend an art show and sale featuring work of artists from Art Collaborations and Artists at the Station will be held at Terhune Orchards. Art Collaborations is an art school in Princeton, NJ with students of all ages using a wide variety of media indoors and outdoors. Artists of the Station, of Hopewell, NJ is a group of painters who meet weekly to work together, share ideas and support in the historic and beautifully restored Hopewell Train Station built in 1876. Artwork will remain on display in the winery tasting room throughout the month.
On Sunday, March 12 local artists will be painting en plein air all over the farm. Come chat with them as they work at their easels and talk to them about their artwork and painting process. Join us for an Artists Reception in the new Wine Barn, Sunday March 12, 4pm-5pm.
Enjoy the music of Jerry Steele in the wine barn as part of our Music in March series on Sunday March 12, 1- 4 p.m. as you take in the wonderful work of our local art community.
All winery events will be held in our new Wine Barn. Enjoy our 12 wine varieties including red, white and fruit based wines, by the glass or as a tasting flight. The large windows in the new climate controlled barn are a perfect vantage point to watch farm life outside or view the stainless steel wine storage tanks and bottling line where are award winning wines are produced from estate grown grapes.
