Terhune Orchards is extending its weekly Sunset Sips and Sounds event into September. Join us to raise a glass to a fantastic summer. The Terhune Orchards winery tasting room will be open late for Sunset Sips and Sounds from 5 – 8 p.m. on Friday September 2 and 9. Start the weekend off by catching up with friends while sampling a dozen varieties of award winning red, white and fruit wines made from fruit grown at Terhune Orchards.
While watching the sunset over the colorful flower field in front of the family farmhouse, try a glass of Farmhouse White, a dry white wine with hints of pear and a smooth finish. A blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Vidal Blanc and Chardonelle, the grapes for this wine are estate grown. As you sit on the patio outside the winery tasting room’s historic red barn savor a glass of Barn Red, a full-bodied blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon with warm, cherry and strawberry aromas with smooth finish with soft tannins.
Light fare made from farm fresh produce grown at Terhune Orchards is the perfect pairing for the wines. Enjoy a Caprese Flatbread Panini, Farm Fresh Quesadilla, Summer Peach Flatbread, cheese platters, chips and salsas and gazpacho with a homemade biscuit. Sip your wine, snack on delectable bites and listen to local musical guests.
