Mothers will enjoy a free tasting during the Mother’s Day Wine Trail Weekend at Terhune Orchards on May 7-8, 2016 from 12- 5 p.m. We’ll be sampling treats made at our bakery and our award winning wines during this statewide wine trail event hosted by the Garden State Wine Growers Association. With the apple orchards in full bloom, we suggest trying a glass of our Blossom White.
Flowering baskets, potted herb plants and our wines all make lovely Mother’s Day gifts. Treat her to an assortment of hanging baskets or annual flowers for her garden.
On Saturday, May 21 from 1-2 p.m. join us for a special wine and chocolate tasting event with Tony Brokenborough of Carol’s Creative Chocolatez. Tony will lead tasters through the history of chocolate from the days of Columbus to the present day. Afterwards, enjoy an extended tasting of 8-10 high quality single origin and Belgian chocolates which have been expertly paired with Terhune Orchards wines.
This event will not disappoint. Everyone will be sure to leave with a better appreciation of chocolate and wine… and how they work together.
Tickets $25 in advance, $30 at the door as space allows. Registration includes a souvenir glass to go home and 10% off bottle purchases on the day of the event. To reserve, purchase tickets online or call 609-924-2310. Tickets are non-refundable.
Both of these events will take place in Terhune Orchards’ winery tasting room located in our historic red barn, rain or shine. The new winery production barn construction is coming along. The exterior is complete and the inside is being worked on now. We look forward to having a grand opening when the work is complete.
Terhune Orchards is located at 330 Cold Soil Rd. The farm store is open daily, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. The winery tasting room is open Friday- Sunday 12 – 6 p.m.
